Signese.com is a collection of photos of Chinese characters in action. Although most are taken by myself on the streets of Beijing, many are contributions, which can be sent directly from your mobile phone.
Queries and thoughts about the photos are always welcome via the comment function.

后面的椅子写的是，一个大大的“竹”字，然后是“竹林葱郁千嶂翠, 树海苍茫万倾涛”，一副老对联了。
前面是隶书写的“解语花”。有意思，照片里正好有一位姑娘，可惜背对镜头。不知到她是否就是“解语花”？嘻嘻！:P

I certainly like to think she’s a “jieyuhua” because that’s my shy wife in the photo! :-)

* A chapter of “dreams of red mansions” is “情切切良宵花解语”, I got this word from that. 花解语，通常说“解语花”，本指“善解人意、会说话的花”，后常比作“美人”（又是唐玄宗的开此风气…）
